QA Analyst *Project Location* Oak Brook, IL *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI : TELEPHONIC + FACE2FACE* * Must have testing experience on iSeries, AS/400 * - Responsible for providing testing services for new applications, additions or modifications to existing applications, hardware/infrastructure upgrades, hardware/infrastructure failover simulations - Responsible for providing testing and documentation services that span multiple platforms including iSeries, Server and Web applications most likely in the same project - Participate in project design reviews, leveraging expert application knowledge, to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules and/or system conflicts - Design, write, revise and verify test scripts and test procedures for product evaluation to attain highest quality standards - Develop and manage test plans, manual test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and "ad-hoc testing" - Responsible for following the project through the full testing cycle until post implementation monitoring is complete in compliance with department standards - Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests - Verify that programs function according to user requirements. - Identify, log, prioritize, communicate, and resolve issues with developers and/or project managers. - Monitor bug resolution efforts and track progress - Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness - Document test procedures to ensure reusability and compliance with department standards MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in the transportation industry - Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining quality - Well-versed in all testing methodologies (white vs. black box test work, system vs. functional) - Proven problem solving skills - *Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues ISeries, Server and Web knowledge as it relates to testing and documentation is required* - MS Word, MS Excel, Lotus Notes, Power Point, SQL Regards, Sonu Singh Recruiter *RG Talent Inc* *39120 Argonaut way* * Suite # 157, Fremont CA 94538* Email : sonusi...@rgtalent.com URL : www.rgtalent.com *Note: We are working with prime vendor (One Layer between) for this position.* *Disclaimer: The information in this email is confidential and may be legally privileged.
