[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Lab 5A item 5.12: H323 and GK-trunk Use Device Pool Calling Party Transformation CSS

2010-11-04 Thread Shady Hasan
When I check this box on H323GW and GK controlled trunk, it does not work at
all.

I have seen Vik's OSL-mail about the 5A lab and the Use of DP Calling Party
Xform CSS on different GW/Trunk types.
According to this, if a match on this Xformation CSS on the H323 GW, this
will override any previous Calling Party Xformation.

Scenario is that of the 5.12 Lab and it is working OK.
That's to say, 4-digit ANI is displayed at both directions despite that
check box Use DP Calling Xformation CSS is checked in BR2 H323 GW and in
GK Trunk ?

Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Shady.

Could you also send the output from the command debug voice ipipgw when
you attempt a call. This would also help find the problem from a CUBE

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Clustering Over the WAN

2010-11-04 Thread Cristobal Priego
Hello all,

I'd like to get your opinion on this
we're bidding on a potential customer and the deal breaker is this
clustering over the wan
between California and North Carolina
the round trip delay between the 2 sites is 100ms

we want to deploy the pub in California and a sub in North Carolina. BW is
not an issue

I know that for the ICCS we need 40ms one way or 80ms round trip time

please let me know your thoughts

would you implement a pub-sub scenario over the wan knowing that the round
trip time between sites is 100ms ?

thank you for your opinion on this

Cris

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Question 10.3/10.4 WB1

2010-11-04 Thread Randall Crumm
HI experts

We have one slow speed link and one high speed link. One the slow we
configure auto qos voip fr-atm and the fast one just auto qos voip.

Is the reason for the slow speed we have to put fr-atm and the fast one
we are not required.

Would it be incorrect to put fr-atm on the high speed link as well?

Also, in the question it looks like we are asked not to use frf.12 and I
thought auto qos voip would configure frf.12

Thanks,

Randall

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Clustering Over the WAN

Hello all,

I'd like to get your opinion on this
we're bidding on a potential customer and the deal breaker is this
clustering over the wan
between California and North Carolina
the round trip delay between the 2 sites is 100ms

we want to deploy the pub in California and a sub in North Carolina. BW
is not an issue

I know that for the ICCS we need 40ms one way or 80ms round trip time

please let me know your thoughts

would you implement a pub-sub scenario over the wan knowing that the
round trip time between sites is 100ms ?

thank you for your opinion on this

Cris
