Also I set the name with uppercase all lettters and tried on sub

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Called Party xformation pattern with SNR...

2011-01-07 Thread mudassar Khalid

Hi guys,Further to an October discussion on forum
http://www.mail-archive.com/ccie_voice@onlinestudylist.com/msg19092.htmlwhat i
have found in my test, Called party transformation pattern match the number
after the RP Digit manipulation or in other words when it reaches RL. This is
quite contradictory to my general understanding that CPTP match the number at
the time of RP match. Here is my config:
HQ ph 1 call BR1 Ph 1  (5001 --> 1001)1001 RD 6178632863 --> RDP has CSS-SNR
rerouting CSS that hit the only RP in PT-SNR--> 617.863 DDI predot--> BR1
RL--> BR1 GWpurpose of test is to change number type and number plan in called
party transformation pattern while using SNR. If i use 617.XXX pattern,
type remain unkown and plan remain unknown on BR1 H323 GW but change
617.XXX CPTP to 863 will change number type national, international or
whatever you set here. at least my test shows that.
So the question is: does Called party transformation pattern match number at
point of RP match or in case of SNR it match after the Digit manipulation done
by RP? or if i miss anything in the middle.
Thanks

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] T1 Pri Issue

2011-01-07 Thread Wilson.Samuel
Didnt get a chance to visit the post yesterday.

Even I struggled with this, as a H.323 GW user (I got more hands on that), I
spent almost 2 days wondering why ISDN Multiple_Frames_Established wasn't
showing up, the moment I made the ISDN PRI Confg (just like in a normal PRI
Data).

But later understood that, CCM Backhaul means that L3 is backhauled to the CCM,
and unless the CCM has the MGCP GW registered the PRI L-3 will never show up
as Established.

Good that you got it resolved :)

Happy Labbing :)

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Max number of participants in CBarge conf call?

2011-01-07 Thread Miron Kobelski
This is what I believe. Single Button Barge enables you to barge in without
using a softkey (only by pressing the line button).
You can configure in CCM service params and/or DP whether Barge or Cbarge
should be used for this.
I configured Single Button Cbarge, but it doesn't work in Remote In Use
state (don't know why, always tries Barge).

Thanks for this positive confirmation - it inspired me ;)

It looks like there is an interesting caveat. Single button Cbarge doesn't
work when there is already Barge conf call active on the line. When I added
CBarge softkey to the "Remote In Use" state and tried to use it, I was able
to get more than 3 parties in the conference.

I have no doc reference, but you can do this using a Route List with your
SIP trunk to CUC as a first option and Local Route Group (+digit

AAR is only of on-cluster endpoints, whereas CUC is considered external
