Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Tab on the LAB exam
For sure. If they don't specify, I usually go with unsolicited. Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Software Versions
Todd. Everything is 7.0/7.0.1. From: ccie_voice-boun...@onlinestudylist.com [mailto:ccie_voice-boun...@onlinestudylist.com] On Behalf Of Todd Carswell (tcarswel) Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2013 12:59 PM To: ccie_voice@onlinestudylist.com Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Software Versions The Cisco web site says that any version of software that has been available for 6 months is open game for the CCIE Voice Lab. Just wondering what version most people use for their lab studies? Some I've talked to are using 8.6 while others are sticking with 7.1(5). What do you recommend? -- Todd ___ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job? Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Software Versions
Hi Todd, The way I look at this is that for real-world you'd likely need to know the newer versions, like 8.6 or 9.0, so I'd study using the later versions, as I'll need that for my work. However, the chances are, that lab uses 7.x, so I'll prepare for lab exam using 7.x. That way, I'd know both the new features of later versions and limitations of the 7.x. [OSL | CCIE_Voice] question about qos for jabber
I am brand new to this group. I have a question about classification and marking of Cisco Jabber traffic. I would like to capture this traffic with an ACL (class map would use to set the dscp) and apply this policy map to the vlan interface. I am planning to identify this traffic based on udp port range 16384 - 32766 (based on Jabber documentation). I would like to know if jabber really uses such a large port range or if there are other methods of classifying this jabber traffic. Please let me know if this is not an appropriate question for this group.
