Otherwise I think your results are misleading. I may not understand you
however, if that's the case, maybe someone else will chime-in.

What if the question requirement is to get a call from same PSTN to the

I know we can separate the DNs putting them in separate partitions, but, then

 Any ideas?

Hello,

I knew that caller ID is not supported on mgcp gateway for fxo port. You should
use h323 gateway or you newd to change your analog line to channelized line
like bri or pri.

2013-03-19 Thread Kamran Ahsanullah
One-wau audio issues are 99% of the time caused by routing issues.
Check your routing between CUCM and GW, perhaps a wrong mask, default
gateway etc.

On the rare occasions they are not caused by writing, ensure there is
a bind command ( for both MGCP and H323) and the send-rec command in
H323.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] H323 One Way Audio Troubleshooting

2013-03-19 Thread William Bell
It depends. If the call path to the PSTN phone is going through a voice gateway
(SA, SB, or SC) then you will want to look at:

1. IP routing in your environment

2. Binding signaling protocol on your gateway

!SIP
voice service voip
 sip
   bind all source-interface Interface
!h323
int Interface
 h323-g v bind src ipaddress

!mgcp
mgcp bind control source-interface Interface

If you are using SIP or H323 or H323-GK to get to the PSTN ITSP then you will
need to look at IP routing and you will need to look at the address used for
the h225 trunk/ h323 gw / or SIP trunk. If GK, then look at dial-peers, do you
have CUBE, etc.

Now, all of that said, it still doesn't answer your exact question. Which was:
how can you tell one-way audio is happening via the CUCM trace.

For MGCP, I know that at the conclusion of a call there is a CMR-like message
sent from the MGCP endpoint to CUCM. I have seen it in MGCP packet traces and I
assume (but have not checked) that this message would show up in the CUCM
trace. Someone can verify. I may test this later this evening and pipe back in
myself.

For H323, I don't think there is a message similar to the MGCP message. If
there were, it would come on the RTCP channel. Perhaps if you enabled CMR
records that would put something in the CUCM trace. Using just the H323/ISDN
traces, I would say that you could look at the IP addresses presented in the
H245 messages exchanged between CUCM and the remote call processing. You would
need to convert from hex but if you saw a bogus address and your audio stream
that had no audio was your IP phone to the PSTN, then that would be a clue.
Again, I have to play with this scenario a little.

For SIP, I think that you would want to look at the SDP info and check for IP
addressing information. Same as for H323 but easier since you don't need to do
the hex conversion. Again, not sure if there is a call statistics message
involved after disconnect.

You have peaked my curiosity. Thanks for that.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] IntegratedServicesEngine bound to Loopback can ping but can't http to it?

What are some troubleshooting shooting steps for a

I can ping the ISE locally and from remote sites, but I can't get the http

I can session to ISE (show tech page is correct), I have reset ISE, I have
done a restore factory default. I have reloaded the router and the ISE.

What else can I do? If I switch it to another interface, reload, etc it
works fine (ping, web page, phones pilot number works fine). What are some
CUE/ISE debug commands I should run to see if http traffic is making it to
the CUE/ISE?

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Can't reach GUI for CUE.

2013-03-19 Thread Michael.Sears
Hello Jason,

It is strange that you can http to GUI when using another interface, like the
Interface Voice VLAN, for example, but I would through this out there anyway.

Do you have all the CME/CUE files downloaded to right directories in flash?
Do you have the following setup:
ip http server
ip http path flash:/gui
ip http authentication local
telephony-service
web admin system name administrator password cisco
create cnf

You can also try to telnet to 10.32.60.253 80 to see if you can hit port 80
using telnet from the HQ router. Although I have not had the problem myself
I've seen it time and time again on the list. Have you tried using
http://[CMEIPADDRESS]. What does your telephony-services configuration look
like? Specifically, what IP are you using for your source address in
telephony-service and port number. The loopback or Voice VLAN and port 2000?

From all your results this just does not appear to be a routing issue.
Especially since you can ping the CUE address from local and other routers.
Also, as someone already suggested use ip ospf network point-to-point.

When you try and reach CUE using HTTP://10.32.60.253/ what is the error. Do
you get HTTP - 404?

1. Cbarge in softkey template assigned to ephones

2. privacy set to off under ephones and tel-service

3. sccp configurations to CME and profiles built out

4. sdspfarm commands under tel-service

I even saw the conference and transcode register cause of term mon.
