If you are only setting it up in desk phone mode you can ignore the tftp
errors. You only need tftp working when you need to set it up in softphone
mode. Meaning you created a UPC device in CUCM for it.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] CUPC Deskphone mode: TFTP Download Failed

2012-07-23 Thread A NN

Hi list,

I set up CUPC in deskphone mode and everything is working fine. Except when I
go to server health on CUPC, I see under Phone Configuration (TFTP): Download
failed.

When I go to TFTP details, I see that CUPC is trying to download the filename
"UPCSITEA1.cnf.xml". Which doesn't seem to exist.
On Presence I already double checked the TFTP setting and they are correct.
How can I get rid of this error? is it a cosmetic error, since everything else
is working fine.

What does the "troubleshooting" tab  on Presence show?  all green?
Do you have Incoming/outgoing ACL configured on Presence and set to ALL.  Also
try resetting the Proxy service

On CUPS.

I am running through the lab 5 vol2 and testing my config.  I am trying to dial
a local number for hq which is 9.2059432785.  Every time i try and dial this
number it sits there waiting on the timeout. I have attached some screen shots
of my config.  If i let the timeout go the call goes out perfect.  There is no
other number that I see that could be interfering.  If I change the Translation
pattern block instead of route the call immediately blocks the call as soon as
I press the last 5.  So I know its hitting that TP. But why is it getting
interdigit timeout. Anyway its driving me nuts so I thought I would send it out
to everyone to see if there is something that Im missing.

Thanks

Why not try getting it to work first without the tech-prefix

Try this:

gk
shut
zone local UCM cisco.com
 zone local UCME cisco.com
 zone prefix UCM 1... gw-priority 10 gk-trunk_2
 zone prefix UCM 1... gw-priority 9 gk-trunk_1
 zone prefix UCME 3...
 zone prefix UCM 5... gw-priority 10 gk-trunk_2
 zone prefix UCM 5... gw-priority 9 gk-trunk_1
gw-type-prefix 1# default-technology
 no shutdown

BR2
no gateway
interface lo0
 ip address 10.10.110.3 255.255.255.255
 ip ospf network point-to-point
 h323-gateway voip interface
h323-gateway voip id UCME ipaddr 10.10.110.1  (changed to lo0 of GK)
 h323-gateway voip h323-id BR2-RTR
 h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr 10.10.110.3
Gateway

Get it working then play with technology prefixing
