Karen,

To stop the live record session you should press the live record softkey again
and it will end the recording and send to voicemail.  If you just disconnect
the recording will continue.

Live record is a nice feature but when you conference in someone with live
record, you have these 1/2 secs of MoH (depending on how fast you are)
which could be nice to be able to avoid.

Could be nice if Cisco had developped a new button/softkey that you could
be programmed for multiple CUCM actions at the same time (like conference +
speed dial)

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] live-record no bip

2011-11-26 Thread Gregg Malcolm
I haven't tried this but from the CUC help pages, you should be able to
disable the beep completely by changing the timeout to zero.

The following procedure is optional. It adjusts the interval between beeps
while Cisco Unity Connection is recording a phone conversation.
To Adjust the Live Record Beep Interval (Optional)
Step 1 In Cisco Unity Connection Administration, expand *System Settings*,
then click *Advanced Telephony*.

   1. On the Telephony Configuration page, in the Live Record Beep Interval
in Milliseconds field, enter the interval (in milliseconds) between beeps
when a phone conversation is being recorded by using the live record
   feature.
If the setting is blank, the interval is 15,000 milliseconds. If the
setting is 0, the beep is disabled.
   2. Click *Save*.

No that is not it I had tried what you said below.

I found it in the CUCM service parameters.

Party Entrance Tone
https://10.10.210.10:8443/ccmadmin/serviceParamSave.do?showall=false#[image:
Required Field] True False True

Set this to false and you do not get a tone at the other side.

I'm not sure for that specific problem.  But I would make sure you have
 the following:

 - a dial-peer that forwards all to cue

 - the cue pilot number configured in cue

I'm leaning towards the cue pilot number not being configured.  I
believe its on a page called VM Configuration
