Is site to site g711? Or is your CUCM local?

Did you get success when running this?

Partial match is buggy in the lab version of CUCM
Did you set your mobile voice access number under media?

Does it work if you call from a phone at the site?

And of course not working from PSTN

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Mobile Voice Access not working since many days!!

2013-03-17 Thread Peter Simmons

Sounds like you didn't set the MVA details under Media Resources.

I usually get these symptoms if I forget to add this.

CUCM Administration/Media Resource/Mobile Voice Access - set the MVA
number and locale.

Let us know how you get on?

 destination-pattern 3300
 session target ipv4:
 dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
 codec g711ulaw
 no vad

 incoming called-number 3300
 no digit-strip

2) here is the MVA service url

3) I am stripping 3033300 coming from pstn to last 4 digits using a
translation-rule on the voice-port level . That is 3033300 becomes
3300 when it reaches CUCM.

4) On CUCM in the service parameters...

Enable Mobile Voice access is set to True
Mobile voice access number is 3300
Matching caller id with Remote Destination is Partial Match
Number of digits of Caller ID Partial Match is 7

5) The Mobility softkey has been added for "on hold" and "connected" at

8) Added a Remoted Destination number of 9525

9) Also went to device > phone and selected the Owner User ID of SB Ph1

Questions :

1) I now dial from the pstn line 9525 on the pstn phone to 3033300

I enter 1 and the call drops . I Even tried entering 12345 ( which the

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Mobile Voice Access and H323 Gateway

2012-07-01 Thread Michael.Sears
An H323 gateway is required to enable Mobile Voice Access service. The H323
gateway is where you setup the service mva.

Configure on H3233 Gateway:
Application
Service mva http://:8080/ccmivr/pages/IVRMainpage.vxml

In CUCM go to help. Then search for mobile voice and look for Configuring an
H.323 Gateway for System Remote Access by Using PRI.

Hi,

I am doing the mobile voice access lab, I found most of the configuration guide
will include the H.323 gateway to play the IVR according to the VXML file. For
my current lab, I only have the CUCM over VMware, and an Asterisk server acting
as PSTN/PLMN via SIP trunk to CUCM. Is that possible to have mobile voice
access working in my environment, is H.323 GW is a must for this scenario?

Scenarios:
1. mobile number (#6140918 from Asterisk) called to MVA number (#6999) 2.
CUCM replied with 404 Not Found.
3. The CUCM log file indicate the following:

match|
06/30/2012 21:41:24.504 CCM|DbMobility: removeLeadingPlus: Calling Party Number

very good to know ! thx for the tip Vik, I was unaware of this. So the
workaround is: set RD = ANI and eventually use application dial rules to
map the RD to the route plan used.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Mobile Voice Access

2012-03-06 Thread Mathew Miller
Thanks much Vik!

I have confirmed that if I have a 10 digit RD and get 7 digit ANI and
set to Partial Match that every time I experience this behavior with
the annunciator. When I changed it to full match with a 7 digit RD it
fixed my problem.

Yes I was using Partial. In my home lab I have it setup as 10 digit ANI so I
guess I did leave it at full match instead.

I will give it a try and see if I can recreate the issue. Thanks

I'm guessing you are using "partial matching" of the ANI versus the RD.

Make it a complete match- in other words whatever the ANI is (from the PSTN in
the Q931 debug) make this the RD number.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Mobile Voice Access

2012-03-06 Thread Mathew Miller
Hello All,

I have setup mobile voice access for use to be able to dial extensions using
enterprise access in my home lab. 100 times out of 100 it works just peachyŠ

I setup my dial-peer on my router, I setup the IVR service on the router, I
setup my RDP and RD, along with my Mobile Voice Access number and set my
Service Parameters.

In my lunch dates I set this up exactly like I have done 100 times at home
and everything seems to work fine until I try to dial the the extension I
want to call and I get the Annunciator telling me my call can't be completed
as dialed.

I have checked my re-routing CSS and all the steps in setup and have access
to internal extensions so I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have tried
to create the issue in my home lab and cant seem to do it. It work EVERY
time in my home lab.

Can anyone think of something I may be overlooking?

Hello,

Did you add this gateway as H323 in CUCM as well? Features and Services
guide does not seem to mention MGCP for this feature.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/7_0_1/ccmfeat/fsmobmgr.html#wp1206437

Were you specifically asked to have MVA and MGCP without H323?

Now I was confused around dial-peers hence had the question.

Hi Shrini,

If you follow the Features and Services Guide as mentioned before, you will
have success. You need to configure "hairpinning" for MGCP to work with
MVA.

The idea is that you will accept the call using 5999, but the MVA pilot
number will be a different number. You will have to add the h323 gateway to
CUCM and create a route pattern that will direct calls for 5999 to the h323
gateway. The incoming dialpeer on the gateway will be the 5999 number which
will trigger the VXML script. There will be a different number needed for
the MVA pilot, for example 6000. The outgoing dial-peer will point back to
CUCM using this number (6000). As the h323 gateway and the MGCP gateway
will be logically separate (listening to different interfaces), you can
accomplish this on the same box.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Hi Warren

Check if the CSS applied to the remote destination profile can see the
number you are attempting to dial out when using mobile voice access.

There should be a service parameter that toggles between using the gateway CSS
or the device + remote destination profile CSS for call routing decisions.

Yu could try playing with that.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Mobile Voice Access

2010-07-19 Thread Warren Heaviside (wheavisi)
Experts,

I'm configuring MVA and having the following issue:

PSTN call comes into HQ H.323 G/W from 415-888-4343. Caller hears the
VXML script prompt to enter the Remote Destination (4158884343) followed
by pound, then a prompt for their PIN followed by #. The next prompt is
to press 1# to place a call. After the number is dialed I can see the
line appearance for HQ Phone x5002 go offhook but hear the Cisco reorder
verbiage "your call cannot". The number unsuccessfully being dialed
via MVA can be successfully dialed directly from the same HQ phone
x5002. My MVA number is 5009 in CUCM. The POTS and VOIP dial peers
are below. Thanks for looking.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Mobile voice access asking userid rather then pin

Hi,

It seems that I have an issue getting the MVA oerational.

Actually I use a H323 gatway connected to the CUCM, so when I call from my
remote destination I have the prompt saying " Please enter your userid ..."
rather than getting the pin prompt.

I did a trace on the CUCM then it seems that my remote destination is properly

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Mobile voice access asking userid rather then pin

2010-06-24 Thread laurent.bourmaud
Hi,

It seems that I have an issue getting the MVA oerational.

Actually I use a H323 gatway connected to the CUCM, so when I call from my
remote destination I have the prompt saying " Please enter your userid ..."
rather than getting the pin prompt.

I did a trace on the CUCM then it seems that my remote destination is properly
recognized :
