Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] all incoming calls to HQ phones failing

2013-03-13 Thread Jaleel ccie
Test call from PSTN LINE 1 408515 to HQ PHONE 2001
By dialing from PSTN PHONE 1 2022001 (DNIS)

However , If I dial LD number from HQ PSTN 1 to HQ PHONE 1 by pressing
4082022001 i get fast busy signal immediately without waiting for
collecting any further digits

also , its good to mention that when i call from SB PSTN Line 2 to SB PHONE1
whether by 10 Digit DNIS or 7 Digit DNIS it works in all cases.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] all incoming calls to HQ phones failing

2013-03-10 Thread Bill
First step is to ensure calls are going out the PSTN and coming in the VG. If
it. Is your lab then you can easily do this if not then SP has to do it on the
PSTN side.

You should then verify at your VG the number as it arrives. Use debug isdn
q931 to verify it is hitting your GW. Then verify the CSS/partition for the GW
and the number of significant digits inbound.

You should or could then start checking your MGCP messages if this does not
solve it.

Good luck

 Hi,

I am having problem with incoming calls to HQ phones, outgoing calls from HQ
phones are working. I can't even call HQ phone from HQ-PSTN number.
I have gone through PSTN config several times but I couldn't find any thing
wrong with it. HQ Router is a mgcp gateway and I'm using only 6 Channels for
 T1 controller.

What else can I do or check to fix this problem.

Hi Farooq,

You should provide the group with the PSTN configuration here in order to help
you solve your issues.

Thanks,
Hesham

Hi Farooq,

Did you see calls coming into the mgcp gw, use debug isdn q931 to check.

Try no mgcp mgcp on the Hq gw.

Thanks,
Viki
