[ccp4bb] Postdoc position at EMBL (Kowalinski group)

2021-03-11 Thread Kowalinski Eva

Dear colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to an open postdoctoral position in
the Kowalinski lab at EMBL Grenoble. Please forward my message to
potential candidates.

The project will target RNA modification enzymes to better understand
their reaction mechanism, their substrates and other interaction
partners. Methodically, the proposed project will give room for an
exciting collaborative mix of exploratory interdisciplinary fundamental
research (biochemistry, cell biology) and applied structural biology
towards early stage drug design.

Sympathetic and dynamic group, state-of the art equipment, great
environment.

Thank you,
Eva

[ccp4bb] Symposium “Macromolecules in Action” Grenoble, 4-5 July 2019.

2019-02-21 Thread Kowalinski Eva
Dear colleagues,

this is to invite you to the Symposium “Macromolecules in Action” organised by
the Partnership for Structural Biology (PSB) in Grenoble, France, on 4-5 July
2019.
This meeting aims to illustrate how big biological questions can be resolved in
structural biology through the application of interdisciplinary approaches,
enhancing our understanding of the dynamic behaviour of macromolecular
complexes in the cell.

There will be the possibility to present your own research in a poster session;
selected abstracts will be given the opportunity to present a short talk.

Check out the fantastic programme: www.esrf.fr/psbsymposium

Registration has now started and ends 30 May 2019, abstract submission deadline
is 30 April 2019.

The PSB is pleased to announce as well the open call for nominations to the PSB
Young Investigator Award, which will be attributed during the symposium. More
information on: www.esrf.fr/psbsymposium

Best wishes in the name of the organisation committee,
Eva Kowalinski
