Dear all,

We would like to inform you that the call for BAG proposals for PETRA III is
open for MX beamline P11 at PETRA III sychrotron, DESY, Hamburg:

The deadline for submission is
--------------------------------------------------
18 July 2023 (inclusive until midnight Hamburg time; CEST/UTC+2)
--------------------------------------------------

Proposals have to be submitted via https://door.desy.de

Please note that we have altered our proposal templates, therefore make sure
that you make use of the latest templates for preparation of your proposal!

Detailed information, preparation guidelines and the new proposal templates for
BAGs are provided here:
https://photon-science.desy.de/users_area/user_guide/select_the_proposal_type

This call for BAG proposals relates to beamtime to be allocated during the
first half of 2024 - second half of 2025

Beamline P11 is a versatile beamline dedicated to protein crystallography
(sample changer in unipuck format), also providing a serial crystallography
setup with tapedrive.

We offer various focusing modes with beam size from 5 x 10 um (flux 1 × 10^13
ph/s at 12 keV at the sample position) to 200 x 200 um. Broad energy range from
5.5 - 28 keV and Eiger2 X 16M detector. Fast sample changer cycle (20 s) with
storage capacity for 23 unipucks (368 samples) and remote access.
