Re: [ccp4bb] Principal Beamline scientist for the Microfocus beamline I24 at Diamond - available - closing date 18/8/2013

Hi Nukri - are you still in Hawaii;) ..is the surf really as good as
Bournemouth...?

For the rest of the BB - Gwyndaf is alive and well and is now principle
scientist for the recently funded VMX project at Diamond which will build a
submicron variable focus endstation called VMXm and a dedicated in-situ
diffraction endstation called VMXi. The latter VMXi is being led by Thomas
Sorensen.

I may as well take this opportunity to encourage everyone to come to the
Diamond user meeting in September where you can find out more about VMX and
everything else at Diamond! - the annual MX user workshop has become a great
1.5 day meeting and I would encourage people to come along as there is a great
mix of methods, science and what's new ...with the added advantage that you get
people going through how they solved that impossible structure!

Best,
Martin
