I believe the VT340-A has the ROM card, but the VT340-G (or plus) does not. The same goes for the VT330A, B, and C versus the D, E, and F. I'd have to pull the cover off to see if the ROM board is still in that location. The VT330 I have does have a removable ROM card. That one might be a pre-production unit. Instead of mask ROMs it has EPROMs, and the manuals it came with are not production level manuals.
