I sure do.  Got a lot of gear that way.  Mostly 1984-1994.  Not a lot
in the past 10 years, for rackable DEC stuff anyway.  A desktop
VAXstation or a desktop Alpha or two.

I still have  things  appear on the  museum  porch  gratis..
helps  balance out the  stuff I  over pay  for.
 
nothing as   cool as a lab  8 in recent  years  though!

I really hope this went to an enthusiast, what a prize. If I hadn't

With these big-budget, rare, items, the real action is always in the last few
seconds. I remember a PDP-11/40 that went from, like $2K (don't recall the
exact number, too lazy to look it up) to $10K in the last 10 seconds.

*Waves*  Yeah, of course it has to  show up in Iowa ; ) It'll likely go 
beyond my budget, too. Plus I just dragged  home a 700 pound piece of tab card 
equipment so my project list is getting a  little "full"!  -C=

afford it - my wife is wonderfully tolerant of my collecting tonnes of 
equipment but I suspect the price of this will go quite high.
