[CentOS] LVM Configuration
Hello, I miss the system-config-lvm tool for CentOS 7 can I found this on a other place? -- mit freundlichen Grüßen / best Regards, Günther J. Niederwimmer ___ CentOS mailing list CentOS@centos.org http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos

From some googling I did when I was looking for it it seems it has no maintainer and as a result it has been dropped from the distros. IIRC they were worried about it not doing the correct thing with newer lvm bits. I too liked it but it is not like the lvm cmds are all that hard to get used to. Besides like all GUIs, there were several things that it could not do, so you needed to resort to a cmd line anyway. (Though to be honest, I probably won't get to it. With a job change, I haven't been working much with LVM or parted, being at a more FreeBSD oriented place now.) -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 ___ CentOS mailing list CentOS@centos.org http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
