[CentOS] INSTALL ADDITIONAL PACKAGES FROM DVD

Hi experts,

I have install centos 5.4 on my laptop(compaq 510). It's very nice. Now i
want to install some additional package using dvd. Sound is also not
working. Please help me to fix the installation and sound issue.

 re: the packages, inser the CD and mount it as /media/cdrom or
 /media/CentOS  then...

yum --enablerepo=c5-media install somepackagename

 I can't help you with the 2nd part

 Yep. We use it here at work. It's part, I think, of video4linux (given
 that I see v4l modules on the servers that have it).
