Just my two cents, but (also just my opinion) some of the new ones aren't really looking good (including for the centos logo on top not being displayed correctly as with some kind of "white on white") Ok, I've reverted back to the original single banner image, and will go ask the folks on the Artwork SIG for their input. I was looking for creative ways to use some of the photos from various events - some of the new ones were from CERN, and others from DevConf.US. I'm afraid that, if a photo contains identifiable faces, one would need a permission to post from each person. I like Fabian's idea of using the same image as the one for the wiki. That image also has the "right height". The one on the wiki is not wide enough - you'll notice that it repeats on the wiki version. I'll see if I can make it work, but if anybody knows where that image originated, that would be helpful, so I can work from that. Hmm. I matched the existing banner size identically as I assumed it was correct. There are in fact 4 banners now on random rotate. [CentOS-docs] Header image of blog.centos.org
I noticed that the header backgroung image of https://blog.centos.org was updated. This brought back some memories around couple of suggestions (or "complaints") when the page was first set up. Fabian thinks it's worth discussing this on the -docs mailing list. :) One thing was that the header image of the page remained the default one provided by WordPress. But no one was able to change it to something nice, or CentOS-specific image. Either that or no admin cared about it. ;-) The other "issue" was that the height of the image was too big. On a small device, it occupies 1/3 or even half of the screen estate. But then, because no one got to modify the settings, this request has not been fulfilled. Since the first one has now been taken care of, it's a good time to consider the second one. The current image is 980x240. Perhaps, changing the height to 120 will make it acceptable ? By the way the header image of the CentOS wiki page ( https://wiki.centos.org/ ) has a height of 130.
