Thanks a lot Stephane and Kamil, Your reply was really helpful. I needed a different version of ceph client on my client machine. Initially my java application using librados was throwing connection time out. What did you mean when say ceph client? The log piece that you posted seems to be about kernel that you are using not supporting some features of ceph.
