RE: [KCFusion] CFGRID problems under CF 5

2002-04-05 Thread Richard Morrison

Actually i had the same problems with cfgrid, we ended up totally
scrapping the idea, seems that you have to have the applet installed on
everypc not just the main server, i'm sure you probably already now that,
most of our pcs are old anyways , it would have taken way 2 much time. I
would have loved to use it here though.
ps. we also upgraded from 4.5 to 5

version. But
the newer version gives a CF error saying it cfgrid contol doesn't
exist.
Has anyone seen any of these problems or gotten the cfgrid to work
regularly?

Subject: [KCFusion] CFGRID problems under CF 5

We are trying to move to CF 5. Many of our pages are using
CFGRID. Under
4.5 there were no problems. We worked out the issue with the
version of the
Java plug-in to get the applet to load. But the inserts and updates
do not
work. No errors are being thrown. We installed the patch from
Macromedia
that was supposed to solve problems with the control. Is anyone
else using
CFGRID and CF 5? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff Brown
