I have some Javascript code below that restricts a user from typing in letters,
but they can type in numbers.

Is there a way I can allow one character that is not a number? How can I edit
the code to allow the ":" character only as well as numbers?

Thanks.

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
function checkIt(evt) {
    evt = (evt) ? evt : window.event
    var charCode = (evt.which) ? evt.which : evt.keyCode
    if (charCode > 31 && (charCode < 48 || charCode > 57)) {
        status = "This field accepts numbers only."
        return false
    }
    status = ""
    return true
}
</SCRIPT>
