Does the CF8 CFImage tag support ICC sRGB color profiles or does it strip the
profile out.

If it doesn't support it, wouldn't it be crazy for an Adobe product not to
support the web sRGB standard?
Crazy is a bit strong. Adobe is a big company with a lot of
products, a lot of development teams, etc. A lot of CF functionality
comes from open-source libraries or custom-developed code that doesn't
rely on other Adobe products.
