RE: CFMAIL 5.0
CFMail is buggy. No doubt there. Just the same, you may want to confirm logs on the mail server. Once an e-mail is spooled and sent to the SMTP server, CFMail has no way of knowing if it actually got there. Re: CFMAIL 5.0
Hi Steve, i have just been making a mailclient in cf/js, and i haven't even noticed anything funky with it. CFPOP on the other hand is as buggy as ever! Mail me off-list if you wish to see some of the code for it. :) Allan -- Original Message -- From: "Steve Reich" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Fri, 5 Oct 2001 10:20:52 -0400 >Does CFMAIL simply not work in CF5? CFMAIL 5.0
Does CFMAIL simply not work in CF5? Everything appears normal, but the messages are never received. I confirmed connection from CF Server to the mail server. It spools the mail to the Spools folder and then appears to send it out, emptying the spools folder. No undeliverables, but no logs either. They are going somewhere, but I can't figure it out maybe CFMAIL was changed to CFDELETE? It's obviously buggy by the previous posts, but is there a workaround? Macromedia doesn't seem to address the problem. What's everyone else doing?
