Changing debug settings with CFML

2005-02-02 Thread Dave Merrill
Somewhere, I think I remember seeing code to add debugging IP addresses
programmatically.

Does that ring a bell with anyone who knows where I could find it? Can you
enable and disable debugging some similar way?

Thanks,

Dave Merrill

There is an unsupported way to do it for CFMX 6.1 with the ColdFusion
service factory object. I don't have details but that should help you
Google for it...

I have a unsupported application that hacked out called ColdFusion Control
Panel (CFCP) for those without Administrator access.

Panel Pages:
- Server Stats
- Debugging Settings
- Mappings (Add, Remove)
- Datasources (Test and View)

I intended to programatically add DSNs and manage cfschedule, but never had the
time. If any one is interested and I can find the time to clean it up and zip
it, it's yours for free.

However, only use it on a box that in which you have permission - I take no
responsibility for your actions.

Qasim-

I've basically used that UDF however, added a view as to return the debug ip
list back and a password protected interface to do this all in (not to mention
everything else).
