RE: IE crashes when copying shortcut?
I have had problems downloading from FTP sites using IE 5.5 SP1 and so have others. But some people using IE 5.5 have no had any trouble. We have come to the conclusion that it depends on the other software installed on the computer that causes IE 5.5 to have problems. We are still investigating. One person removed Real Download from their computer and IE started to download from FTP sites again. While this is not the same error, it seems that IE 5.5 has some strange quirks.
