Verisign is the way you want to go... If you're doing any credit card processing there's some good (IMHO) suggestions in one of my previous messages: RE: CF and credit card transactions. When I wrote it I didn't know Verisign bought CyberCash... but it's a good thing. Verisign is much better... It's good to see the better solution win. Just a note about VeriSign - they did buy CyberCash out and no longer support the system for new customers. The good news is, VeriSign is a step up from CyberCash. They always provide me with excellent service and the longest a transaction has ever taken is 2 seconds. Besides offering a CFX tag to interface with their systems, VeriSign offers a free trial period where you can experiment with the tags. It says it only goes for 30 days, but I have been able to use test accounts for over six months in the past. LinkPoint is another solution which has a Cold Fusion tag available. I believe they charge $99 for it or at least they did a year ago. I haven't been using the tag but I have a merchant account on LinkPoint so I might want to. Sure. Verisign has one, although its a CFX and you have to sign up for a test acct to get hold of it thru them. AuthorizeNet has a couple as well. There's lots more, I'm sure. Ben Had similar problems with cybercash a few years ago. What was happening is this: Intermittently, we would not get a response from the cybercash tag a retry would get a response that the record had already been posted to cybercash With that version of the tag you did not get the response detail of the posted item hat to go into the cash register mgmt program (via cfhttp) to retrieve the response detail. The problem originated at cybercash or the network... not returning a response code. We're also kicking around moving the site to Rackspace. So, that opens up other possibilities. Who has the best real-time credit card authorization system that integrates with ColdFusion? Is Authorize.net good? Any help with any of this: recommendations, solutions, ideas, whatever, would be most helpful.
