Tim,

I use openrowset in a stored procedure to access an oracle database and
AFAIK it closes the connection as soon as the procedure completes.

If it didn't then the group that manages that oracle database would be out
to kill me for all of the connections that would be created!

Hmmm I'm trying to delete the file right after the stored proc completes.. I
don't think its being released cause I can't seem to delete it.  Even try to
delete it manually.  I have to wait approx 30 secs until I'm able to delete
it.
