Without testing it myself I can't say for sure, but I think it probably

Just curious, but couldn't you install it on a different computer (even a
laptop) and just copy the directly you need over without all the
complications?

I would make a copy of the entire directory, then uninstall and install.

Then copy and overwrite the configuration files. Pretty sure with 7, you
will want the lib/neo-*.xml files.

That should get you most of the way there.

You could also leave the current install as is. Install a fresh copy to a
new directory. Copy the configuration files, then update the Web server
connectors to the new instance/install.

That may be preferred as it would be easier to roll back to the prior
version to at least keep things working.

No, I don't think so, but you could export your existing configuration first
then reinstall and import the configuration.

No, I don't think so, but you could export your existing configuration
first then reinstall and import the configuration.
