I was under the impression you only had to set it if you were not outputting
text/html... which you'd have to do anyway...

If you're not setting content-type correctly, it's hardly 'work around' to do
it the right way.

It's a work around if it is an additional requirement.

Setting content-type is not necessarily required in all forms of output.

RE: DevNet Pro watermark

2003-08-21 Thread Steven Erat
Calvin,

For XML output, set the content-type to text/xml with cfcontent to avoid the
watermark. For plain text output, set content-type to text/plain.
See this example app:
http://63.76.26.194/downloads/index.cfm?item=devnet%5Fwatermark%2Ezip

If you have a specific example that this doesn't cover, please let me know.

Has anyone else had issues with the DevNet Pro CFMX 6.1 watermark breaking things like
javascript output based templates, xml templates, plaintext generating templates (such
as strings for older flash movies) and so forth?

I've had to revert my CFMX DevNet Pro install back to 6 because it prevented me from
being able to continue with development. :(

Re: DevNet Pro watermark

Thanks Chris,

But I consider it to be a very bad thing to have to develop around something
of this nature. Having to spend time coding around something that won't
exist in the production environment can only be a bad thing.
