smush.it

2010-04-01 Thread Jeff Gladnick

I just tried out Yahoo's smush.it for image compression. Even on images that
were HAND optmized in photoshop, this still knocked off another 5%.

Has anyone used smush.it with coldfusion? Is there a way to send images to the
server and bring em back into you app?

IS THERE A *SMUSH.IT* API I CAN ACCESS SO THAT MY IMAGES ARE AUTOMATICALLY
SMUSHED WHEN THEY ARE PUBLISHED?

The API currently is not available for public use. We are working towards
making this publicly accessible .

I'd imagine that when/if they open up the public API, it should be easy
enough to do.

I saw that, but wondered if there was a cfhttp implemntation, or possibly a
similar service with an API. Probably better to wait for the API anyway.
