I know I know, Watercooler right. Well, this has Coldfusion spice to it aswell. I've kicked off a project and want you guys to be apart of it. Time to put our money where our mouth is so to speak. In that, is Coldfusion really that powerful? lets pitch an idea or two and put together a web mashup, if we can't do it, we'll pay for our failure ;P http://blogs.msdn.com/msmossyblog/archive/2007/03/26/readysteadymashup-com-project-kickoff-meeting.aspx -- Regards, Scott Barnes http://www.mossyblog.com --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups cfaussie group. For starters the old MossyBlog actually looked mossy, and I liked it a lot :) And prove is actually prove, not proove. And you work for MS? A few folks committed at WebDU: *Barnesy, when you going to talk more about Microsoft products instead of Adobe's* which is a fair call, and it wasn't lost on me at all. Too many years using superior Allaire, Macromedia and now Adobe tech? Nearly 12.5 years for me. I for one forgive you. Also what the heck is a mashup? And remember both Scorpio and Apollo are in various stages of beta so we might get out butt kicked (Scorpio especially). -- Peter Tilbrook ColdGen Internet Solutions President, ACT and Region ColdFusion Users Group PO Box 2247 Queanbeyan, NSW, 2620 AUSTRALIA http://www.coldgen.com/ http://www.actcfug.com/ Tel: +61-2-6284-2727 Mob: +61-0432-897-437 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] MSN Messenger Live: Desktop General --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups cfaussie group. [cfaussie] Re: OT: ReadySteadyMashup.com
Ya know I suck, especially when Peter picks out the spulling mistakes. I seriously need to invest in a spell checker (Mark @ Gruden took me to task over Than vs Then, not to mention brother begging me to do the same). Anywho, I can't customize the MS Mossyblog due to policy blah blah. This concept applies to any brand. So a mashup could be I want you to build a flickr search engine, using coldfusion and WPF, now go! As long as there is a Web 2.0 piece in the ingredients, and Microsoft (as that means I get access to the prize cabinets) the rest is up to your imagination. The catch 22, is that it has to be accessible to other developers online as well.. ie Make it talk to my LiveCycle server wouldn't work, as you can't all get access to Adobe LiveCycle via Shared ISP's etc ... LOL! That's not what I meant :) It works indeedy. I beta tested SQL 2005 even and love the full version (yeah now at SP2 but...) Even tried Vista beta - hardware runs it great - just not convinced for software support (espesh for Adobe or Macromedia software. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups cfaussie group. [cfaussie] Re: ADMIN: Job Posts to CFAUSSIE are not appropriate
Sorry Geoff, Posted here for the same reason mentioned by Dale. Not as much interest in CFJOBS as CFAUSSIE. I thought you might let it slide and I'll ignore Daemon trying to poison people at webDU with expired boiled lollies :) Again sorry, and I've now posted again to CFJOBS. If they are sitting in there, they are not deliverable at all, you can try dragging them to the spool directory if you want to try sending them again.
