[cfaussie] Re: CF8 Dynamic PDF Content

2008-04-20 Thread Chris Ellem

Hi Claude,

If you post a cut down source example maybe someone will be able to
help.

I guess Rae is making the assumption you are used LiveCycle Designer
to create your template.

Is this the case? If so, maybe there is another way.

Regards

Chris

[cfaussie] Re: CF8 Dynamic PDF Content

2008-04-20 Thread Rae Buerckner
Hi Chris,

No, I did not assume that LiveCycle Designer was used to create the PDF.

However, I do believe that the only way to embed the javascript correctly
into a dynamic PDF is to save it as an XDP first then save the XDP as a
dynamic PDF. I could be wrong, but I do recall somebody aying something
about this before.

Cheers,

Rae

I'll give that a go.

More than happy to do it manually, but how? ;-) where is the button to
upload to testing server for CSS and JS files?

If you select Testing Server from the view drop down at the top of the
files panel, all subsequent get and put operations will be to that
server, until you change it to Remote View again.

[cfaussie] anyone ever hosted with BlueCentral.com?

2008-04-20 Thread Kay Smoljak

I have a prospective client hosted with BlueCentral.com - they have
Cold Fusion lol but don't provide any information as to version,
support etc.

Has anyone here hosted with them? They are Sydney-based according to
their web site.

Cheers,
K.

Thanks everyone, but I'm pretty happy with Fasthit. Just curious as to
whether we'd need to move this prospective client (and it appears we
do).
