I need the services of one or two freelance CF developers to work on
ad hoc projects 2-3 days a week. CF8 experience would be a real plus.
 Any questions, please ask.

[cfaussie] Re: stored procedure serves up its own code

2008-09-30 Thread Barry Beattie

Mark, can you explain a bit more?

is this a PL/SQL sproc (PL/SQL extentions, looks nothing like ANSI
SQL) used for their Oracle applications?
http://www.orafaq.com/wiki/PL/SQL_FAQ

oh how I hate their htc.writeLine(HTML) ... just feels so eighties

[cfaussie] Coldfusion 8.01 64bit / Ubuntu Server 64bit

2008-09-30 Thread CyberAngel
Ok, this has me stumped. And not being a unix guru, google hasn't helped me.

Anyway I have setup a Virtual Server running Ubuntu 64bit, just Apache 2,
SSH and ColdFusion. Apache is working, as the it works file is servered.
However I had a couple of issues installing this the first time, but since
then have been able to uninstall and reinstall without any problems. It
appears to not setup the Apache connectors correctly, as I had to manually
add the index.cfm which is no big deal.

But any cfm page, is asked to be saved?

Can someone point me in the right direction, I have never had any issues
under Ubuntu 32/64 Workstation. First time on Server, so I am thinking a
permission problem or something in Apache not configured right.

Andrew Scott
