I do know some detail. The man who was assaulted was an older man that was walking at night. This was the third time this has happen to him. He seems to be a perfect target my neighbors told me. He is older and comfortable in the neighborhood and even after all of this interaction, he still walks at night. The police response is indeed distressing. I am curious about the facts behind the assault that was in progress when the good samaritans intervened. Does anyone know if that was random? a robbery in progress? or possibly a drug deal gone bad or an incident that started in a nearby bar or restaurant?
