Hi, everyone- particularly those in the 2700 block areas of Calvert, Guilford, and St. Paul. We just returned from a brief trip to the shore and came home to find our cat, Rosie, (about 3 years old) missing. She has a chip ID implant, so I am hoping someone will pick her up and have her checked. But, if you see her, she is a dark tabby cat with splashes of white on her face, a stubby tail, and a white tummy that sways when she walks. Most concerning to me is that when we adopted her, she had previously been declawed, so she has been an indoor cat! If you have seen her, please let us know. We are very worried. I'll also be keeping my eyes open. There are a couple of good articles on the web about lost cat behavior which might help you predict where she might have gone. I hope some of the information is helpful. Just google lost cat behavior and there are oodles of links. The common theme seems to be for an indoor only lost cat, the most effective solution is to set a humane trap. -Kathleen Wilsbach www.missingpetpartnership.org/recovery-*lostcat*.php www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/*lost*_ct1.htm www.berkeleyhumane.org/PDFs/Resources/*Lost*_*Cat*.pdf www.bestfriends.org/nomorehomelesspets/.../060605*lostcat*.pdf http://www.pets911.com/animal-academy/finding-a-lost-indoor-only-cat/ -- *From:* *To:* The Charles Village Chat List chat@charlesvillage.info *Sent:* Sun, August 29, 2010 2:44:29 PM *Subject:* [Chat] PLEASE pass along: missing kitty!!
