[Chevelle-list] Replacement Exhaust system and Headers 1970 SS396

2011-06-01 Thread Ian Gibson
Hi from New Zealand

I need to replace the entire exhaust system on my 1970 SS 396. I would
like to use a performance system to keep the aggressive V8 sound. If you
can recommend which headers and exhaust combination I would greatly
appreciate it. I like the Magnaflow Performance system I have seen on
line but worry that it won't replicate good sound does anyone have any
experience in this area. Do you think I stick with the 2 1/2" or go to
the 3"

Appreciate any assistance you can provide

Many thanks Ian

[Chevelle-list] Rear arm rest 1970 Chevelle

2011-05-09 Thread Ian Gibson
Hi,

Does anyone know where to get the rear arm rest base complete for a 1970
Chevelle. They are not listed on Ground up. I am missing the passenger
side whole assembly.

Many thanks Ian

[Chevelle-list] 1970 Chevelle SS Bumpers

2011-05-05 Thread Ian Gibson
Hi all does anyone know if it is best to re chrome the original bumpers
or buy the replacements offered at Ground Up. Replacements seem to be
way cheaper than re chroming. Thanks Ian
