want to help?
Join us in our effort to FREE EDDY LEPP!
Eddy is scheduled to appear in court Dec.2, 2008 to face possibly two
life sentences.
We hope you will take the time to write the judge and ask for leniency
in Eddy's sentencing.
Here is a sample letter that we ask all concerned to please sign or
write your own and send to Judge Patel.
This only takes a few minutes and costs you only 42 cents. Please help.

Re: Federal Sentencing of Reverend Charles Eddy Lepp
Dear Judge Patel,
I am writing to ask for leniency in the sentencing for Reverend
Charles Eddy Lepp, which is scheduled for December 1, 2008 Reverend
Charles Eddy Lepp is a Rastafarian Minister, and as such is compelled
to provide land assistance to his flock for the cultivation of the
sacred herb. Reverend Lepp notified many local, state and federal
agencies that he was cultivating cannabis for his ministry based on
federal law (RFRA) and California State Law (Proposistion 215), which
clearly allow for medical and religious use of cannabis in spite of
any DEA classifications.
We pray that you treat Reverend Charles Eddy Lepp with leniency, as he
was merely allowing others to grow cannabis fr medical and religious
use on Church property with no evidence of personal profit; we pray
that you remeber his good character and the honor of his word by his
compliance of your court orders; and the sincerity of his beliefs that
he was allowed to do this under the previously mentioned law.
Presently there is a great unfairness with State versus Federal Law
concerning cannabis, and good people are getting put in precarious
situations and facing criminal records and unfair sentences in Federal
Prison for merely growing medicine.
Sign your name here and send it in the mail or type up your own letter
showing your support.
Thank you
One Love

Chris,
Again I appologies for the wait. Things are very busy on this end. We
would love to get together with you at our next OMCCC meeting and
discuss what we can do to help you in your endeavors. We've been
looking into starting a recomendation clinic up and anything we can do
to support this idea.
Our next meeting is Sunday Sept. 21st from 4pm to 8 pm. This would be
a great time to meet up and further discuss our services and better
explain what our Ministry is about. We're excited to work with you,
and are willing to help with whatever you need. We have some used
supplies right now we can get ahold of if you need some equipment
soon. just let us know... If you need a faster way to get in touch
with us, feel free to call our business number. (503) 995-6604. if we
dont answer we'll get back to you within 24 hours. Thanks for your
patience and support.

I also noticed a mention of wholesale equipment... Can you tell me a
little more about that, I'm about to get a few major things and some
savings would be wonderful.
I heard the Compassion Center closed due to internal conflict, but the
woman who ran the support services that managed donations coming in
and out mentioned the doctors are willing to work in a new clinic if
she can get it organized.
I attended the Willamette Valley Norml meeting yesterday and the
compassion center was on the agenda. Someone from MercyCenters was
there also and they have been trying to set up a recommendation clinic
for some time now, but haven't had any doctor support or a location to
hold it. It also look like VoterPower will no longer be holding
clinics, meaning no remote clinics in Eugene, so I think THCF is the
only place that holds a remote clinic in eugene anymore, but I'd have
to call them to make sure, they don't mention it on there website.
So I'm thinking about helping to start up a new recommendaiton clinic
in Eugene, but I would very much like it also to be a COTC Rasta
Temple, it would be a good way to get the word out about religion,
freedom, and this powerful Herb. We could hold church meetups for
eugene area, banquets/events, groundations and reasonings, take in and
redistribute clothing/food and other donation items for those in need,
and organize volunteer forces to represent the COTC, Rasta, and local
cannabis supporting community at events from the Country fair to
Seattle Hempfest.
I'd like to get a bit more info on how your church runs and the full
flow of its operation then come up and attend service and talk in
person some about setting up the Temple down here, then when we find
the location have Rev. Lion come down for the opening ceremonies and
bless the temple.
Thanks and Blessings
Chris

Chris,
Glad to hear from you! We're so sorry to hear about the Compassion
Center! The founder was a friend of Tex's, do you know why it closed??
We do indeed do match-ups like that. We don't cuurently have any on
the waiting list, but a few people are going to be consulted with in
the next week or so and we will definitely let you know. It's
wonderful to add another resource to our list so we can ensure that
true patients are getting the help they so desperatley need and
deserve. Sorry it took so long for us to get back to you. Things have
been very busy around here. Please feel free to contact us anytime!
Blessings on you and your life, and may you be a blessing to those
around you!

Greetings,
I had the chance to talk with your booth and hear Rev. Lion speak
several times through the Hempfest last weekend. Very inspiring. I'm
interested in getting a COCT chapter started down here in Eugene, but
for now I'm working on garden stuff.
Does the OMCCC keep a list of patients in need of growers? I'm
currently registered with a couple of patients and have LOTS of room
to expand so I'm looking to find a patient or two with a true need.
Does OMCCC do match-ups like that? The Eugene Compassion Center just
closed so there is nowhere in eugene for patients or growers to list
up together anymore. I can provide plenty on a monthly basis with no
cost asked from patients.
Thanks,
Chris Werner
