Trotsky was supposed to step in when Lenin died. The act of god, so to speak, is the illness that prevented him from fulfilling his plans. Once Stalin shored up his support, the banksters decided it wasn't worth upsetting the applecart to reinstate Trotsky. Trotsky left Russia and remained in exile for many years before he was killed in Mexico while he was a guest at the home of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo.
