Re: [Cin] Improved Gradient Plugin
Okay. Really thanks for the info, very clear. But if the new Cin version do automatically, what does "Disable OpenGL masking" do, now? (perhaps no longer needed?) Il 09/06/2019 19.14, Phyllis Smith ha scritto: IgorB: I should have made that clear. Feathering (which uses shading) in masking uses OpenGL 4.3 version. An automatic probe in Cinelerra looks to see which GL version you have and even if the Video Driver is OpenGL, will switch to software for feathering if the driver is not high enough. Since the glxinfo reports less than 4.3, feathering will be done by the software. -- Cin mailing list Cin@lists.cinelerra-gg.org https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/mailman/listinfo/cin

IgorBeg: "What did you do?" Phyllis: "He fixed a bug!" Ahahahh, you are great! Yes, I understood, but I would like to know if it also depens by my OpenGL or not. My old test Project works fine. Let use know if your old test Project does NOT work correctly. It is easier for us to have a simple case to use to find and fix a bug. Your practical examples are good but sort of complicated for me to see what is going on. Re: [Cin] Issue 242 - crash again!
Andrea, sorry for marking issue 242 resolved but it was such a trivial code fix and it worked for us that I do not know why it is a problem for you but there must be something different. We will test here on an Arch system -- maybe there is something specific about whatever Mask window parameters are set at from previous usage. I did a GIT pull from the repository and rebuild again this morning and still no crash. The mask parameters I have set are Mask 6 checkbox, Fade=100, Feather=0, Markers and Boundary checkbox., nothing else and it does not crash. In the dump, gg says the place it is crashing for you is the same as what he saw before the fix went in and it is clear from the UNDO stack in the last dump, that all you did was Load and then Rotate Mask. There must be some other way to get the crash than what we are doing? gg/Phyllis On Sun, Jun 9, 2019 at 12:41 AM Andrea paz wrote: > With reference to issue 242, I'm still crashing. > > -- Cin mailing list Cin@lists.cinelerra-gg.org https://lists.cinelerra-gg.org/mailman/listinfo/cin
Re: [Cin] Improved Gradient Plugin
GG/Phyllis, I tested the new build ub16-20190608 with your simple test file. Wow! It also works perfectly with OpenGL Video Driver (setted in Preferences) like X11 Video Driver. And in Mask tool the "DisableOpenGL masking" is unchecked; if I enable or disable that option, the output doesn't change, it is always displayed correctly. What did you do? (If you need of a screencast to see what I see on the screen, let me know) Now, I try with my old test Project. Thanks! Il 08/06/2019 22.04, Phyllis Smith ha scritto: IgorB: Yeah! we found a bug now.
