At the time, I did read that and briefly mentioned it to GG but he was busy
so I did not get any further than downloading the files. However,
supposedly Debian 10 is to be released on July 7th so I have marked that
down and then would be a good time to have him go over it again. Thanks
for the reminder. Phyllis

Re: [Cin] Valgrind

I made a new Valgrind.
I still used Vdpau, which gave several errors on the terminal. Anyway
everything OK.

[Cin] Latex and Manual

2019-07-01 Thread Andrea paz
@Olaf.
Every month I write an email containing LaTeX and Manual in the title
to continue the discussion and translation work with einhander. I
installed the whole package, plus the Greek and Russian languages. Of
course I also installed an editor, that is TexStudio.
It would be nice if you could also contribute (in any way).

"I also noticed that the lines in the TeX documents are all written
without wrapping. When using Git and Diff, however, hard line breaks
could be useful, short lines limited to less than 80 characters
simplify the clarity."

My knowledge of \LaTeX is very superficial and therefore I have not
understood what you mean by wrapping the text.
It would be nice if you could also contribute (in any way).

Re: [Cin] Valgrind

2019-07-01 Thread Phyllis Smith
Andrea, thank you. GG is looking at it now. There is a lot of leaking in
textures of OpenGL. If/when you have time to rerun, it would be helpful if
you add the following 2 additional parameters so maybe it will help to
pinpoint the texture leak problem. Also, the color picker in the Sketcher
is fixed so try to avoid Ctrl-C and use a normal Quit instead.

Add:
--num-callers=32 (the default is 12 so texture leaking does not
point to far enough to see the problem)
  --leak-check=full

Hi and thanks for that.

Just to let you know that I've been making a package of it for
LibraZiK-2.
Still currently in the testing phase. Will probably hit the users'repo
sometime in August.

@Phyllis: on the 6th June, I've sent to the list a message (subject:
"Debian packaging improvements"). It contained a few
improvements/remarks. Since I can't see any changes related to it this
new monthly build, nor I've heard from you (you're usually very
responsive), I'm now wondering if you did received this June-6th message
from me. Did you ? Just checking, no hurries.

All the best,
Olivier
