[c-nsp] vs isis delay propagation of loopback interfec
Hi all. Can someone help me out here? I'm trying to find a way to delay the propagation of a loopback interface in isis. The problem is the border node in sd-access, which uses the loopback interface for Lisp, and as soon the fabric sees the interface it sends traffic to the address. But at this time bgp might not be ready out of the fabric. Right now we are using a eem script to open and close the interface based on a static delay. Hope someone has way to get around this. /Arne ___ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/

Re: [c-nsp] Delay in delivery of new routers
Yes. We ordered some NCS routers back in September and the lead time was 6 weeks. Then it got pushed to December, now it's looking like late January. First it was COVID19 reasons, then we were told due to material shortages. Something similar with Juniper - 8 week lead time on MX204s. -evt On 12/15/20, 3:38 AM, "cisco-nsp on behalf of h...@interall.co.il" wrote: EXTERNAL - Do not click links or open attachments from an unverified source/sender. Quoting aar...@gvtc.com: We use a Cisco Gold Partner. Regards, Hank In August/September, I ordered several Catalyst 9300's and a few Firepower 2130's and it only took about a month to get all of it delivered. I wonder if it depends on the make/model and also, if you go through a VAR and if they already have access to it. I don't know. -Aaron ___ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/ ___ cisco-nsp mailing list cisco-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/

Delivery delays happen in all things silicon these days. See also the NVIDIA 30-series deliveries, AMD Zen3 and Radeon deliveries, etc. COVID has taken a great toll on the global supply lines. Re: [c-nsp] Delay in delivery of new routers
No idea as to why, but we saw the same thing this summer. Purchased a couple of switches and 2 ASR920 routers. Switches arrived in a week. The routers took almost 3 months. We ordered 8 new ASR1009x at the end of July. Original delivery date was mid-September.
