[cisco-voip] TEHO using SIP trunk ringback issue
Hi, The call flow is like this: CUCM cluster 1 SIP TrunkCUCM cluster 2---H323Voice gatewayISDN PRI---PSTN The problem is when calling from cluster 1 to the PSTN, the CUCM in cluster 2 plays ring back tone whether the final destination is reachable or not, we don’t hear the PSTN announcements in case the number is wrong or unreachable or…etc. How to remedy this. thanks in advance ___ cisco-voip mailing list cisco-voip@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-voip
[cisco-voip] Unity user parameters greyed out
I have users from our first install a few years ago that have parameters greyed out like LDAP integration. Is there a way to fix this verses deleting the mailbox and re-creating it ? [cisco-voip] Strange 10.x licensing issue
Had a healthy, licensed 5 node cluster. Some Telepresence units were added and that put the PLM out of compliance, clearly. So the TP licenses were added (using the built in auto-pak fill tool)and that brought the TP license shortage back into compliance BUT put basic messaging, essential and enhanced licensing out of compliance. My question is, once TP units are configured in CUCM, does that change the geometry of existing licensed users? [cisco-voip] CUCM 10.5 and MS AD LDS
We are trying to integrate CUCM 10.5 with AD LDS on Windows 2012 Member Server. The source AD is Windows 2008. We are able to get the users accounts to sync with ADAM sync to the LDS server but the CUCM does not import the accounts. We have tried using the Attribute for User ID (CUCM LDAP configuration) as UPN or Mail ID with no success. The CUCM DirSync traces show errors indicating missing element: 2015-07-22 18:14:11,363 ERROR [DirSync-DBInterface] common.DSDBInterface (DSDBInterface.java:530) - DSDBInterface.updateUserInfo LDAP data discarded: Missing LDAP attribute: Attribute Count=2 AgreementId=aafebf6f-8f39-5590-4959-b2eb5df5f146 There seems to be only account in the logs that its querying. We have over 300 so I do not think CUCM is getting a response that the expected accounts were queried. To get the LDS to sync the accounts we had to add the following user attributes to the LDS schema: - ms-DS-UserAccountAutoLocked - msDS-UserAccountDisabled - msDS-UserDontExpirePassword - ms-DS-UserEncryptedTextPassword - msDS-UserPasswordExpired - ms-DS-UserPasswordNotRequired We added a test Local LDS account and this did import. We exported the user attributes from one AD -- LDS sync'd account and the LDS local account. The only relevant difference was the msDS-UserAccountDisabled shows unset for the the AD -- LDS sync'd account. The local account we set this to False to enable the account. Would like to know if there is anyone that has this working and can provide some feedback on how you got it working. Thanks! Re: [cisco-voip] Unity user parameters greyed out
I have this same issue currently with my 10.5.2 cluster su1. LDAP integrated users have the LDAP status greyed out as well as extension, etc. I have a TAC open as I'm sure it's a bug, but I had luck in the short term by using BAT to fix it. Exported users in CSV, modified, then updated. On Fri, Jul 24, 2015 at 11:57 AM, Ryan Huff ryanh...@outlook.com wrote: If it is not from an LDAP integration, it maybe from an AXL integration. You could get a COBRAS snapshot of the account (to get the recorded name and messages ... etc). Then delete the account and restore. -- From: norm.nichol...@kitchener.ca To: cisco-voip@puck.nether.net Date: Fri, 24 Jul 2015 15:53:41 + Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity user parameters greyed out I have users from our first install a few years ago that have parameters greyed out like LDAP integration. Re: [cisco-voip] Cisco Finesse Phone Book
No there isn't a way. Hopefully this is added to the roadmap, since it would be easy for finesse to utilize the UDS API. There are likely 3rd party gadgets, but this should be built in. Re: [cisco-voip] Strange 10.x licensing issue
I haven't seen messaging licenses change for a device in cucm yet ... Now will need to look closer. But I have seen CER licenses decrease when a owner is set same on multiple devices in cucm . Still need to dig into that to get understanding of why... Up until i saw that, I thought each product type license was not tied to other types. Have not found much in docs yet on this.
