Re: [cisco-voip] Basic corlist question

2018-10-30 Thread NateCCIE
Yes. If you have no cor applied to the outbound dial peer, then anything can
use that dialpeer.

Re: [cisco-voip] jabber for mac with ADFS, credentials repeatedly prompt?

2018-10-30 Thread Matthew Loraditch
Found out it’s a user agent string issue
We use seamless sso on our Windows PCs so you have to make your agent strings
specific enough so macs get FBA instead of IWA:

Is forced UPN discovery getting picked up I wonder? Not sure if that’s a thing
on Mac Jabber ...

In Windows, you’d install the client with the following CLI switches: CLEAR=1
UPN_DISCOVERY_ENABLED=false CLICK2X=DISABLE

The mac is on the domain if that matters.

Any ideas? We have very few macs in our entire client base and have not seen
this before.

Re: [cisco-voip] IM PUBLISH Trunk Alternative

2018-10-30 Thread Brian Meade
I don't think there's another way in IM

You could use Subscribe/Notify from a technical standpoint but that doesn't
scale super well.

I've used the Publish Trunk for integration to custom XMPP deployments for
those reasons.

[cisco-voip] Basic corlist question

2018-10-30 Thread Ed Leatherman
At least - I think this is basic...

Can a call with an incoming corlist (based on the inbound dialpeer) match
an outbound dialpeer that has no corlist? Basically, following the lock/key
idea, the outbound dial-peer has no lock so anything can match it.

I'm trying to go through a vendor-provided IOS config for a SIP integration
between a Cisco router and our public safety's dispatch system, and it
keeps matching on a dialpeer we are not expecting, based on how we _think_
it is supposed to work. Essentially the scenario above.

Thanks!

I thought I recall reading somewhere, or maybe hearing it from someone,
that if you did not want to use the SIP Trunk option for PUBLISHing
presence changes from CUCM to IM, you could use some alternate method.

Does this sound familiar to you? If so, what can you share about it? Or,
am I not recalling the information correctly?

[cisco-voip] EMCC + Jabber Phone Control.

2018-10-30 Thread Jon Fox
Hey all.

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with EMCC and in particular
Jabber Deskphone control with EMCC.

Not able to find much about this.

On version 10.5 Jabber i can see that it wasn't supported. However i'm not
seeing any further info on it.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/Windows/10_5/rn/JABW_BK_J559CFFB_00_jabber-windows-release-notes-10-5/JABW_BK_J559CFFB_00_jabber-windows-release-notes-10-5_chapter_010.pdf

I can see from the v10 SRND it mentions "EMCC supports dynamic CTI control
of a visiting phone"
But i'm not able to find any further info on this.

Any info would be appreciated

Many thanks

Jon
