[cisco-voip] Connection PLAR problem...

2015-06-18 Thread Michel L. M. B. Perez
Hi guys,

I found a problem in my router 2911, i think that is a config mistake, let
me try to explain.

In the beggining i thought that it was IOS problem so a made a upgrade
from c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M6a.bin to
version c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-3.M3.bin

I have this same configuration at the some router on another interface an
this is not happening.

Analog Phone - FXS Post - Branch_Router - CUCM - IP Phone [Call is
completed, Voice is Working, No Problem]
IP Phone - CUCM - Branch_Router - FXS port - Analog Phone [Call is
completed, Voice is Working, Problem]

When the remote users answer the call, in the beggining of the call i can
hear a sound like the phone was trying to dial a number, for me seems that
the router is not understanding that is an incoming call and when the user
hang-up the phone the router is trying to dial the number configured at
connection plar at this voice port.

Anyone already have the same problem?

Thanks.

[cisco-voip] CUCM AD Integration

2015-06-03 Thread Michel L. M. B. Perez
Hi guys,

I have a question, i think this is not so usual, not for me.

If i have my CUCM enviroment, like a cluster on version 9.1 with 1 PUB and
3 Subscribers.

My customer is using a domain with @contoso.com this CUCM cluster is
importing LDAP users from doamin @contoso.com. My question is can i map
another domain, completely different with no relationship like @whereis.com
to import this users to my CUCM cluster and this users can use my CUCM /
Unity / Jabber structure?

Or will i need to create another enviroment for this other domain?

Thanks.

I've used these at home and got them to work in the lab. I think I had to
define LLDP profiles for the specific phones I was using as voice OUIs or
some such. Been a while. I can try to grab a config and check if that

Do you have VLAN 30 defined under VLAN Management or just under the Voice
VLAN section? Make sure it's added as a regular VLAN first.

 jeffrey.gir...@girardinc.com wrote:

Im playing with a SG300-10MP in a lab for a potential client purchase.

I am unable to get the Auto Voice VLAN function to work correctly.

I have set the “user ports” as untagged for VLAN 20 (data vlan)

Under VLAN Management - Voice VLAN - Properties, I have defined VLAN 30
as the voice vlan and enabled the auto voice vlan with activation
immediate. CDP and LLDP are all configured (defaults). Smartport features
 are all defaults.

I have connected two IP Phones – a 7941 and and a 7940. Both draw an IP
address from the attached router (port 9 on the switch is configured as a
trunk up to a router running DHCP) – but an IP address out of the data
VLAN. As they don’t get an Option 150 address, they don’t register.

When I look at the Smartport Interface settings for ports 7 and 8, it
indicates Smartport Application Method is disabled as the Smartport Type is
 Unknown.

I also attached a regular laptop to Port 5 on the switch. It drew a data
vlan IP address and it too showed up as Smartport Type Unknown

So, I ran the diagnostics on the two ports to which the IP phones were
attached. The macro is failing at the line

“smartport switchport trunk allowed vlan add *$voice-vlan*”

So, this makes sense to me. The macro is not applying the voice vlan to
the switchport, hence the phone is not getting the correct vlan and thus
not getting the correct dhcp scope and tftp service IP address.

So, the question is, why is the macro failing?

I go back to the Voice Vlan properties page and confirm that I have 30 set
for the voice vlan and that I have applied the change. The page shows that
the operational status of the voice vlan is 30.

Anyone run into this or have any suggestions?

[cisco-voip] Extension Mobility - CSS and Partitions

2014-05-08 Thread Michel L. M. B. Perez
Hello guys,

I would like to talk and ask, what is the best way to do Extension Mobility
in my case. I will try to explain the topology.

I have my CUCM cluster, and i have two phones, Extension Mobility is
working fine login and logout with ms ad credentials, the phones are
configured with a dn 1001 and 1002, both are on PT_LOGOUT and CSS_INT_EMER,
when the users at this phones log in the will use the same numbers 1001 and
1002 but now they are on PT_LOGGED and CSS_PERMIT_ALL.

When somebody call from PSTN the CSS from gateway is configured first with
PT_LOGGED and after that with PT_LOGOUT.

The user on PSTN hear busy tone, cause 1001 and 1002 on PT_LOGGED are
created associated with EM_UDP, and this EM is not logged on phone.

I configured a CSS_FWD and associated this with DN on PT_LOGGED forward
unregister this CSS_FWD has the PT_LOGOUT numbers. And take the DN option
in blank, if i complete de DN option it works.

Somebdy has this same problem?

Thanks.,

 Guys,

I have a question, it is a simples question, but i was trying to find some

Well my customer has 5 Collab Servers (3 CUCM and 2 CUCM IM P), all of
them virtualized above VmWare and UCS Machine, 2.5K IP Phones.

My question is, i have a SIP Trunk from CUCM and CUCM IM IP and i am
using the certificates from CUCM and CUCM IM P to make this a Secure SIP
 Trunk, not non Secure.

My CUCM and CUCM IM P are using authentication with Microsoft Domain
Controlles TLS on TCP/636 port using AD certificate imported on both
 clusters.

I have a key token this token is installed under both servers, making SIP
and SCCP Secured. So everything here at my customer is not non-Secure.

My final question is now this machines need be moved from one vlan to
another, and these IP adressess need to be changed.

I think that probably i will have lots of problems with that, so am i
right, that i will need to generate again certificates and make all the
authentication between this systems work properly after this modification?

 Thanks a lot.
