I've submit a virus three times using sendvirus form but still no  
reaction. any of.

Should I do something else?

It's always worth submitting samples to http://www.virustotal.com and
http://virusscan.jotti.org as well.

They forward to the ClamAV team and other antivirus vendors.

[Clamav-users] Version 0.88 is not recognizing known viruses - HELP

Hi,

I have version 0.87 installed on a machine and 0.88 installed on 
another. I also have some sample viruses in a folder. When I execute 
version 0.87 on those samples it tells me that the files are infected, 
which is what I expect. Symantec AV also does the same thing. However, 
using the same sample with version 0.88 tells me the files are OK.


I even tried the online virus submission and that too tells me that the 
files are OK. If my copy of 0.88 was letting the viruses go, I would 
have assumed a database corruption. But why is the online submission 
also not recognizing it.



Any ideas?
