That's highly unlikely - qmail-scanner doesn't do anything that would
allow itself to swallow Gigabytes of RAM. What is really taking up your
RAM? e.g. the following ps trick should show you the top RAM user

ps auxww|grep -v ^USER|awk '{print $5 $0}'|sort -n

Fedora 6 is end of life -- there aren't going to be updated packages for it.

You can compile it youself from source, or upgrade to Fedora 7 or 8

am running fedora 6

and when running freshclam I get the following error:

WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED!
WARNING: Local version: 0.91.1 Recommended version: 0.91.2

but i can't find that version for fedora 6

any ideas any one?
