We have been building the release tarballs with the projects dist target, which should pull in the required bits for a complete build. Having checked this today, I can confirm that the contrib directory is not supposed to be packaged in the distribution files according to the build system. [clamav-users] Missing init scripts in 0.97.6
Hi, can somebody explain me why the 'contrib' top-level directory is removed from the source tree in 0.97.6 tarball? Somewhere i found that it is presented only in the development version within github: https://github.com/vrtadmin/clamav-devel Moreover, even there, there are no more init scripts within. Previous versions contained /contrib/init/RedHat, for example with the usable init scripts. The entire contrib/init directory was about 50-60K in size and i'm really can not understand why it is removed - without any notifications in changelogs? Any ideas - and any init script available for RedHat / Centos? We temporarily bumped the TTL up to three hours yesterday to ease the burden on the mirrors while we pushed out a change that would cause a lot of bandwidth. The TTL will be set back to its previous value soon.
