[Clamav-users] Error after upgrade
I Upgraded from 0.88.6 to 0.90.3. I did a make uninstall of 0.88.6 and then built 0.90.3 from source. No errors during compile. When I run clamscan or freshclam, I'm receiving: clamscan: error while loading shared libraries: libclamav.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Not sure where to proceed from here. I'm on Fedora Core 6 (2.6.18-1.2849.fc6). Any help appreciated. Christian Christian Campbell Systems Engineer Bruegger's Enterprises Inc. Do you have the path/to/lib directory in /etc/ld.so.conf and did you do an ldconfig? Does locate libclamav.so.2 return any results? Re: [Clamav-users] Error after upgrade
Christian, Did you try to recompile clamscan? Regarding freshclam, Are you sure you are running the new version? Maybe an old copy still exists... Check for broken links in /usr/lib/libclamav* I've seen similar issues in the past. Hope this helps. Regards, Jose --- Christian Campbell [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I Upgraded from 0.88.6 to 0.90.3.
