Hi everyone
I'm running 8.0 rc3 on a Fedora 2 linux box.
I'm trying to compile Mail-Clamav 0.11 and I've the following error:
ClamAV.xs: In function `clamav_perl_constant':
ClamAV.xs:282: error: `CL_SCAN_ENCRYPTED' undeclared (first
use in this
function)
ClamAV.xs:282: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported
only once
ClamAV.xs:282: error: for each function it appears in.)
ClamAV.xs:284: error: `CL_NUM_CHILDS' undeclared (first use in this
function) ClamAV.xs:285: error: `CL_MIN_LENGTH' undeclared (first use
in this function) make[1]: *** [ClamAV.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/alex2/Mail-ClamAV-0.11/_Inline/build/Mail/ClamAV'
I've already checked that:
/usr/local/lib/libclamav.so points to libclamav.so.1.0.4
/usr/local/etc/clamd.conf is valid
/usr/local/include/clamav.h is the latest 8.0 version
clamscan works fine and clamd starts whith no problems.
I'd appreciate any suggestion about what else check and how
to fix this.
Thank you to all the developement team for that great effort
called Clamav.
Best Regards
Alessandro Bianchi
I've reopened the bug I filed against Mail::ClamAV for this issue:
http://rt.cpan.org/NoAuth/Bug.html?id=7320
The workaround is to uninstall 0.80rc, install 0.75, build Mail::ClamAV,
uninstall 0.75, reinstall 0.80rc.
Cheers,
Phil
