If #1 was 1971 and #79 was 1972 C could be making 70 hulls a year. Then 
there’s that the 74 portion of the HIN doesn’t necessarily mean when the boat 
was built but the earliest it could have been built. My boat being #281 does 
make sense. Wow that’s a lot of boats in a short time.

It appears to be correct HIN, given the hull numbers that immediately 
proceeding and following your Boat.  I believe '74 was the forth year of 
production fr the 30s.

Tom,

I will send several pics to your email address.  My understanding is Goldstar 
Marine’s advertising team has been documenting the painting process with the 
intent to add Calypso to their web site’s photo album.  I did not see anything 
there as of today.

Goldstar Marine’s paint crew performed the “roll and tip” Awlgrip paint job in 
Matterhorn White with Awlgrip’s Vivid Red for the cove and shear (incl the star 
and dagger) stripes.  I used Prism Graphics for the vinyl letters which I 
applied (they had the original file from 1999).
