Message-ID: <0e3b7b13-bc0f-452f-a0d7-ddbe3fbea...@sailpower.ca> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Yes. The sensor connects the wire to ground when there is no oil pressure and that sounds the buzzer. If the sensor is defective, it will not connect the wire to ground and the buzzer will not sound. So... If you connect the wire to ground, you are doing what the sensor should do, and the buzzer will sound. If the buzzer does then sound, the sensor is faulty. Rich Wait a sec. If the buzzer (or a connecting wire) is defective the buzzer will not sound PERIOD. Bob ___ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com
Stus-List New Boat
I too own a 29 mk11 (also for sale) and recently had my new boat transported by road. Don't overlook the fact that you will need to unstep the mast, secure it to the trailer and restep it, if moving the boat by road. It appears from the online photograph on Craig's List that the bottom of the keel has been altered. For comparison purpose you should know that the Sept. issue of "Windcheck" ( www.windcheckmagazine.com) has three C & C 29 mk11s advertised for sale. Stus-List Regarding Batteries
I suspect that all batteries with the same label and/or warranty are not the same. Because of shipping costs, it is likely that different brands come off the same assembly line and are just branded differently. I also suspect that warranties are mostly a marketing gimmick and have little to do with battery longevity. The cost of honoring longer warranties is just a selling expense, not an indicator of quality. bob07052 ___ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com
Re: Stus-List CnC-List Digest, Vol 87, Issue 148
" The boat has been stripped completely, and I do mean EVERYTHING has been taken off and out. The hull is an empty shell. The former owner was going to fix the deck around the stanchion bases and do a complete repaint, but after disassembly and initial sanding, he went awol and left the seller with the boat in its current state. The deck repairs are half done: the rotten core is removed and new waterproof plywood sawed in shape to fit. As far as I know, there is no such animal as "waterproof plywood" ___ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com
